In special shoes is an app for anyone who has an interest in raising awareness for physical and mental disabilities.

The app has photos, videos, and the information needed to learn about and raise awareness for these disabilities

With our app you can:

  • You can learn about what these disabilities are

  • You can learn about the symptoms, how to cure or treat the disabilities and learn how to help.

  • There are videos and a website that is on our app that help explain and raise more awareness for these disabilities.

App Questions

What is my user getting by downloading this app? This app shows people reasons why they matter, even when they think they do not.
When downloading our app, people are informed as to the magnitude and commonality of all types of disabilities. Once people understand something, they can better accept it and know the severity of it. Our app serves to inform others about the struggles that many people face, and, as such, should be able to help prevent the mistreatment of the disabled by many people.

Is my app just a bundle of various app links? Or is it really providing some functionality as an app to the user who downloads it?
Yes, it is providing functionality for information about the Physically and mentally disabled to help people know more about the disabled and how they can help.

Does your app work as advertised?
Yes, the app is meant to be an information database and is built and advertised as such.

Does your app have undocumented or hidden features?

No, all of our features are in the app and documented.

Is your app unique and not just websites pulled together? Does it have entertainment value?
The app is a collection of unique data as well as citing some sources that are in the form of links. It's entertainment value can come from a person's enjoyment of learning.

Is your app just a marketing tool or does it do anything else?
It is going to help people learn about the disabled and raise awareness about them.

Do you have any tricks or fake functionality that isn't clearly marked?

Do you mention other apps in your app? If so, what and how?

Is every app screen completed with text on it?

Do you use the same font and font size throughout the document? Do you use title case? Have you alpha tested and made sure all buttons work?
Yes, Times New Roman 10 pt. Alpha testing has been completed.

Do all of your buttons link to pages that are the same name as the button? Do all buttons on all pages work?

Citations should be handled in 3 ways:
1. You should have a page in your app to cite links for all graphics.

2. You should cite sources of information in context where they are mentioned. (This often works well with HTML w/ a button page but at least have the link at the bottom.)

3. Permission for use of any videos that they did not create. (Document video permissions in the same screen you used for #1 above?)
