Overty is an app to mobilize action against poverty. Our app includes statistics, charities, pictures, how to help, contact us, and social media.

  • Statistics - Facts about poverty in countries and regions of the world.
  • Charities - A list of trusted charities vetted by students.
  • Volunteer - a list of volunteering opportunities in your area
  • Ideas - We include videos from people about how they are taking action against poverty.
The target audience for our app is anyone who has a smartphone or wants to help others should download our app. Overty is simple to navigate through, so anyone can use our app. Overty’s goal is to help people in poverty live a better life.

This app is going to aid people living in poverty. We are asking people to join our movement towards making the world a better place.

Our app is a must download for people wanting to help others. Helping others gives you a feeling of goodness that nothing else can give you. So, download Overty to “band together to end the world’s problems.”

By downloading Overty, users immerse themselves in an app that not only cares about the world around them, but cares about the people and the lives that are in poverty. Whether they are looking for information, pictures, or ways to help end poverty around the world, Overty can provide.

Although we do have links to different charities and volunteer opportunity pages, we provide real statistics and pictures to actually give users an inside-look at the impoverished conditions in major regions around the world.

Our app works completely as advertised, it fulfills every single standard that we put for ourselves

Does your app have undocumented or hidden features?
All of our app features are out in the open; we don't want to hide our work.

Is your app unique and not just websites pulled together? Does it have entertainment value?
As mentioned above, our App is unlike any other in that it provides videos, photos, statistics, and ways to help out. While many organizations may have apps that allow users to volunteer for them, our app gives users a wide variety to allow them to help in any way that they can.

Is your app just a marketing tool or does it do anything else?
Our app was made to benefit people around the world who are in need, and does much more than just market sales.

Do you have any tricks or fake functionality that isn't clearly marked?
Anything we advertise about our app functions correctly. We don't believe in tricks or faking, as Poverty is not a joking matter.

Do you mention other apps in your app? If so, what and how?
No other apps are mentioned within our own.

Is every app screen completed with text on it?
All of our app screens are thoroughly completed.

Do you use the same font and font size throughout the document? Do you use title case? Have you alpha tested and made sure all buttons work?
All of our pages are functioning and standardized.
